Done first: tawaf, saʿi, then men shave or trim and women cut a fingertip of hair.
Before the 8th
You leave Ihram and wear ordinary clothes until the morning of Tarwiyah.
At the Haram
Umrah tawaf. Not tawaf al-qudum.
Hady
Required, on the 10th or during the days of Tashreeq.

Intention
Hajj and Umrah together, one Ihram from the miqat.
Umrah
Inside that Ihram. No separate Umrah, and no haircut when you arrive.
Before the 8th
You stay in Ihram.
At the Haram
Tawaf al-qudum. Saʿi done then is not repeated after Ifadah.
Hady
Required, on the 10th or during the days of Tashreeq.

Anyone who wants one Ihram for the whole journey.

Hajj only.
Umrah
None on this journey.
Before the 8th
You stay in Ihram.
At the Haram
Tawaf al-qudum. Sunnah for the Shafiʿi school, and a Hanafi wajib if you came from outside the miqat. Skipping it does not void Hajj.
Hady
Not required. A voluntary sacrifice is still allowed.
Usual path
People already living in the Haramayn, or anyone not offering a sacrifice.
The same in all three
Wuquf at Arafah is the Hajj. Muzdalifah, the Jamarat, Tawaf al-Ifadah, saʿi if you have not already done it, and Tawaf al-Wadaʿ before you leave Makkah are shared. The Talbiyah of the Hajj Ihram stops at the first pebble of Jamarat al-Aqabah.
